Organic Baby Clothing: Look and Feel Good With Organic Baby Clothes
We always say that our children are the future of the world. By taking positive steps in taking good care of our environment, we are preparing our children's future and making their lives well lived too. One classic way of helping our environment is by using earth-friendly products like organic baby clothing. We are not only protecting our baby's health but we are also paving the way to stop global warming. Every little bit that we do, is one big step in saving planet Earth and ultimately our children's future.
Conventional Cotton vs. Organic Cotton
Cotton is the product most often used in making clothing lines. It is also the crop that is loaded with harmful chemicals and pesticides because insects and pests pose a big problem in growing this crop. The chemicals and toxins that were sprayed into this crop are not easily eradicated, instead they are absorbed in the clothing line that they are manufactured. The dye that is used in making fabric is also hazardous as it may cause skin problems like eczema. The toxins slowly build up and cannot easily be flushed out of the system. This is another health risk as cancer may develop with the gradual increase of contaminants in the body.
Organic cotton used in organic baby clothing, on the other hand, are certified natural and safe for the babies. They are grown naturally and use preventive measures to destroy insects pestering the crops. Crop rotation, weed burning, and using organic fertilizers like animal manure are used in growing organic cotton. Organic baby clothes made from organic cotton are made from fibers and finished with dyes that are environment and baby friendly. Thus they pose no risk of damaging the sensitive skin of the babies.
Conventional cotton clothing is coated with resins that prevents its shrinkage and not with formaldehyde as finishing, which is carcinogenic and is a harmful skin irritant. This, on top of the 150 grams of chemicals, makes for the toxins that are ingested on every single shirt produced. Organic baby clothing is still made from the same cotton but without the harsh chemical, pesticides, and fertilizers. You are ensured of the safest and finest cotton in your organic baby clothes.
Go Organic!
Dressing your babies with organic baby clothing is not just about the health risk factor, but parents use it also because of the comfort factor. Organic baby clothes are also made from highly breathable cotton. With skin as delicate as the babies, it is best that you choose products that will benefit them the most, and that is organic baby clothing. With organic baby clothing, you avoid posing health risks to your babies.
Using organic baby clothes means investing for your baby's health and investing for their future as well. Because wearing and looking green is always experience with organic baby clothing.

What can I make myself to eat?
I have limited food in the cupboard, and limited technical ability, the housekeeper has gone home and my dad is out.. my mum is working out of the country. So yeah looks like I've got to make some food for myself- or I could order a takeaway- but the healthy option seems better.
Literally all that is in the fridge is:
Foie Gras
'aberdeen angus organic fillet steak' according to the the label.
Fresh pasta- Mezze Maniche.
Onions
Champagne (which I'm not allowed because I'm not 18, of course)
Organic green beans
Organic Baby Carrots and Corn
Organic butternut squash
and a bag of organic mixed salad..
suggest a dish/meal.
Sorry I forgot the dairy.
single and double cream, milk, cheese (cheddar, parmasan, feta, roquefort, red lecister)

Infant Ear Piercing? Is it really an issue?
Just a quick question - First off, I am not a parent. I don't have any children yet, though in the next few years me and DH will hopefully be TTC.
It's not something I thought about until recently, my sister has a young child who had her ears pierced at around 6 months I think. I didn't think anything of it as we both had our ears pierced from before we can remember and I personally think its adorable. I can remember being 4 or 5 and loving to go shopping 'with the girls' and I loved more than anything to pick out new earrings.
Anyhow, recently we went out for lunch with my niece and somebody made some really nasty comments, saying my sis was a bad mom because she got her ears pierced and mutilated her child. We're all adults, my sister is a mature educated adult who goes the extra mile, making all her own organic baby food, etc etc etc.
I know there are some seriously controversial subjects like forward facing/rear facing car seats, breast-feeding/formula feeding etc. But seriously? Ear piercing? To me that's a non-issue. God forbid she has a son she decides for whatever reason to circumcise!
Is this really that big an issue? Or was this lady just over the top with some clear superiority complex issues?
I'm pretty sure likening ear piercing to tattooing a baby is an absolutely insane and ridiculous excuse of an argument that doesn't even warrant a response for those intelligent enough to be put off by the comments.
As is the idea that my sister, or anyone else who pierces or circumcises for cultural or religious reasons, has some kind a mental disorder.

Why is my baby throwing up?
I am a first time mom, and twice now my 7 1/2 month old daughter has woken up in the middle of the night vomiting for no apparent reason. The first time was when she was about 5 months, and most recently a few weeks ago. Each time it had been 3-4 hours since her last feeding (breast milk). Also, each time she would throw up 8-10 times in an hour period, and the last few times before finally stopping would be retching and dry-heaving.
The first time it happened (when she was 5 months) I had given her some organic baby rice cereal mixed with breast milk, before nursing her and putting her to bed. The second time, I fed her pureed sweet potato before nursing and laying her down. Neither of the solid foods where new to her at the time of either incident.
Also, I do remember taking 2 vicodin (for a debilitating migraine) about 3 hours before nursing her at the time of the second vomiting.
Both times I freaked out (mostly because I woke up to her choking on her vomit), and called her doctor's answering service, and both times they sent me to the hospital to have her checked out right away. Each time the doctor said it was just a virus, but I'm a little skeptical because there were no other symptoms.
If anyone has any suggestions to offer as to why this has happened, or if it might happen again, or what to avoid, etc. please let me know! If you have any questions for more details, please ask, and if I am doing something wrong, please let me know, because I feel awful when my little girl doesn't feel well! Also, I would really appreciate if input was only from other parents or medical professionals. Thank you so much!
I HAVE consulted her doctor, and got a very VAGUE answer which I wasn't satisfied with, which is why I'm asking here. Rude.
