Energy Projects
Alternative Energy Projects Finance
There are numerous advantages and benefits to mankind in developing alternative energy sources. While many countries have started down the track of setting up resources and infrastructure to develop alternative energy such as bio fuels, wind and water as well as solar power there is still huge scope to increases the levels of energy created.
Mankind's technological progress and our developing societies as a result have come along way by harnessing energy for electricity and using fuel to power vehicles we have created the ability for huge industries. To date these industries have relied on nonalternative power sources such as fossil fuels.
These sources are extracted from the ground and need to be processed so we can harness the fuel and electricity. They are commonly referred to as coal, natural gas and hydrocarbon fuels. We rely on them heavy and the costs are pollution and usage of our natural resources, which are not infinite.
Perhaps one of the biggest stumbling blocks in developing alternative energy is the cost some third world countries and even private companies that seek to find independence from hydro carbon created energy don't have the necessary funds to be able to do so, this is where alternative energy finance comes into play.
By selling surplus energy created to other business you can offset costs and some large power generating companies will even buy excess energy off you. With the looming threat of global warning and possible peak oil production being reached There has never been a better time to seek financing for alternative energy projects, whether it be an ethanol energy project, wind farm turbines, hydro electric, coal bed methane, seam gas, green energy, sustainable energy, feothermal energy, hot rock energy, or clean coal.
Before applying for finance for any project you first need to have completed all research and have a development blueprint but there are many experts out there that can consult with you on how to achieve this. Governments around the world are desperately backing alternative energy projects, but banks won't give you a fair go - they see alternative energy projects as providing poor returns, or say the project teams lack experience!
The time for action is now before the natural resources mankind relies on for energy manufacture is totally depleted. Mankind must also stop the damage being done to our planet through the high pollution traditional energy manufacture causes.
If we wait till the fossil fuels are totally depleted before we develop sustainable alternative energy sources we may see a return to the horse and carriage days and having to resort for candles for light and indoor fires for heating.
We must all take responsibility now before its too late or we will see a huge reduction in our population and backward steps in our society functions as a whole as we are totally reliant on fossil fuels not only to power our own vehicles but to transport food and other goods globally.
Thankfully there are companies that are willing to help others by providing the finance needed for individuals or companies to develop highly needed alternative energy sources
Jenna Scott the author specializes in helping those seeking to create alternative energy sources finance. I have a free energy project do you think it is something that would work?
Ok first start off on the west coast of lets say california bc of the high high tides and low tides. Take a float (barge) and float it in the bay attach it to a piston pump at the bottom pump it up a pipe line to the top of the mountians their and turn it over the othe side into a res. let it gather up until a sufficent amount is their to push the turbines efficentially. drop it through that and then de salinifiy it. before droping it into the desert communities that are short on water. kill two birds with one stone... also attach everything else that is free energy or green energy on this thing to make it efficient. ( alternitave would be to pump it back into the bay or ocean out further than the intake instead of over the mountain and making farm water or drinking water) i am going to go to school to learn how to do this it is my dream to build this im 22. what fields should i study what degrees and what companies should i work for to achieve this please help?

What are the changes in energy through an airplane taking off and flying?
I have a conservation of energy project for my Physical science class. We have to explore the conservation of energy with energy we use in everyday life. My group's energy source is an airplane. The airplane has to go through four changes of energy. Like kinetic energy to potential energy to mechanical energy to something else. If there is anyway possible, could you please give me an idea of a model to make and how we can show the changes of energy by using this model? Thank you so much.

How do Buddhists not believe in a creator of some particular sort (please read all info)?
(THIS QUESTION IS FOR OPEN-MINDED BEINGS, NOT CLOSE MINDED, ONE-SIDE OPINIONATED PEOPLE)
To fully understand my question, please read everything below.
I would like to start off by stating that I am in no shape or form unintelligent. Therefore please respect my thoughts.
I have been studying Buddhism, and have taken a major interest in converting myself.
But, I strongly believe that there is a higher power of some sort. How can one look at a beautiful parrot, with it's rainbow colored feathers, zebra striped eye, and say that it is natural evolution?
I DO believe in evolution, but I have a perspective that this 'power' may BE evolution. I say this in the sense of consciousness. Since it is theorized that nature may have consciousness, our god may be nature itself. Which would allow sense to how trees, flowers, streams, and other natural landscapes are so absolutely gorgeous. There is no way that everything could have evolved so beautifully and perfect without the help of a higher power. A tree is so delicate in features and gorgeous in existence, that it seems impossible to have evolved in a meaningless manner.
How is nature beautiful if there is no creator of any sort?
I take an interest in the idea of cosmic consciousness as well. The cosmic universe is so gorgeous and breathtaking. They may be large collections of beauteous consciousnesses. They say that the universe is expanding, this may be because death continues to take place, and our consciousnesses (or what some call our souls, minds, etc...) take form in the galactic universe.
I am very confused on how the Dali Lama, someone so absolutely brilliant, can simply deny the idea of a higher power. He states that since life works in cause and effect, there can be no creator. The Buddha did so as well. I know that it is impossible for us to know, therefore illogical to contemplate, but I take an interest in such ideas.
When we think about the possibility of a god in scientific means, it opens the doors to unexplainable matters. How can blood cells, so dull in intelligence, constantly fight off viruses and diseases without thinking? What is the power behind the atom? What is the power behind our brains? This power... this inconceivable power... what is it? It may be so complicated, so complex, that it turns out to be nothing. That scares me.
But there has to be SOMETHING.
ALSO: How can Buddhists believe in a spiritual realm of consciousness, and not believe in a higher power that we cannot contemplate? How does Karma work without the act of intelligence behind it? How can our negative energy project itself into the earth, and eject itself in an intelligent manner?
Ex. - Let's say I did something very terrible in my life, and I was later robbed... we would call this Karma, right? Well, we cannot claim that there is nothing controlling these acts of punishment. Cause and effect has to have some form of intelligence behind it.
I feel as if I have meaningful coincidences in my life that are symbols to keep me going. If these symbols are actually meaningful... what makes them so?
I know that we will NEVER understand the answer to my question. But even scientists are creating reasoning behind the existence of a god.
For one, our DNA has a pattern behind it. It is a pattern that was set up in a particular manner. When we began creating chips for computers, we realized we used the same TYPE of pattern used in DNA, except with numbers like 000111101010. (ex)
I could be wrong, the Dali Lama may deny the existence of a Christian creator, because they assume God is a human form. I do not believe this.
I just simply want to know if me believing that nature is God, and that he has formed the beauties of the universe through his powerful consciousness, interferes with me being completely Buddhist.
Thank you SO MUCH for taking time to read my concerns.
loki-
I did not intend for this to be a misconception. But you are right. That is exactly what it is.
Like I said, I have just began researching it recently. So of course I am not fully committed and will have personal concerns. I have to address these concerns before I can commit to it. Once I fully understand what I am getting into, I can decide. This question is a call for help and advice. I do not wish to be criticized...
I wish to be informed.
to Been There:
Your point is extremely selfish in manner. You claim that I am 'incorrect' when there is nothing to be said that is incorrect.
You must not know how to read very well either, because I said the CHRISTIANS believe God is a human form, not Buddhists. That would make absolutely no sense. You are betraying your own said 11 years of 'training' by becoming agitated and defensive.
Thanks, although you didn't help me at all. I refuse to listen to close-minded, one side opinionated people. And you are obviously one of those.

When I first heard that the Union of Concerned Scientists was creating a research-based guide to green living, I was ecstatic. How brilliant, I thought, to finally have the answer to the question of which of the seemingly infinite "green" actions make the most difference. Should I obsess about turning the lights off before I left the house? Was composting worth the effort after all? UCS, which ...
